Prãgiedruliai has audio-video, applied theater, photography, textile design and art / glass studios. It's a space for experimentation, nurturing creativity, freedom, and the development of emotional intelligence. The creativity center also benefits from a resident program including two studios The Tower and The Black Room and a community garden.
Every month or every two months Prãgiedruliai invites you to discover different artists - International and from Lithuania. We tend to mix and match the media between the exhibitions, keep it well curated and always surprise the visitor with something different.
Design studio curator Inga JURKEVIČIŪTĖ
Design Studio is open to anyone who wants to tap into their time and be in the community creating or freeing their thoughts and turning them into a body. The design studio hosts changing workshops for people of all ages, where we work sustainably, combining the following techniques: batik, cyanotype, linen carving, fabric printing, upcycling old clothes, and bringing them to new life. We talk about our style searches, subtleties and review the functions of modern clothes and fashion trends.
Alternative photography studio curator Urtė Serapinaitė
The alternative photography studio is designed to get acquainted with alternative photography techniques. The main distinctive feature of these processes is the wide range of possibilities for experimentation and application. In the world of unlimited digital images, Urtė will invite you to physically touch the origins of photography and create unique works. Workshops on various analog photography processes and various cultural projects take place in the studio. The photo lab is also available for personal use.
Ongoing workshops in the studio: film development, silver gelatin stamp - experiment, cyanotype, lumen technique, polaroid lifting technique, pinhole.
Arts studio curator JOLITA PULEIKYTĖ
Art studio activities are aimed at fostering creativity. Thus, activities are designed and a microclimate is created in such a way that your creativity can freely express itself.
This studio organise art workshops which involves traditional art genres and a bit of performance elements: graphic arts, painting and scuplture.
AUDIO - VIDEO studio curator LAURYNAS VALKIŪNAS
It is a space and opportunity for people to acquire knowledge and practical skills in creating video, audio, and social media content. Using the equipment in the studio, you can not only start learning but also deepen the knowledge you already have. People attending workshops and camps will be assisted by an experienced team of lecturers.
Planned activities: the audio-video studio will teach journalism basics, introduction to the film industry, and sound design training for young people and adults. Seniors will be invited to creative audio recording workshops, children will be able to spend their free time in day camps. According to the need of visitors, there will be many trainings offered: communication with the media, social network administration, graphic design, audio recording which will improve the competencies of working people.
The studio closely cooperates with the Panevėžys city and district branch of the Lithuanian Blind and Visually Impaired Union.
In the applied theater studio, general skills and qualities are developed, during which the aim is to foster creativity, develop working group and individual skills, strengthen self-confidence and tolerance. Movement theater classes are also held, which will help the creative potential of each participant to unfold, creating a harmonious work environment, expressing support and respect for each other. In addition, stage language skills are developed in the theater studio. During them, participants get to know voice control and breathing techniques that give them more self-confidence when speaking in public.
Residencies and Exhibitions Curator Ieva Kaminskaitė
Prãgiedruliai’s residency programmes are open to creators from Lithuania and abroad working across a range of fields, including artists, researchers, creative industries professionals and practitioners of other creative disciplines. The programmes offer participants the opportunity to live and work in Panevėžys, surrounded by nature in the picturesque Skaistakalnis Park, right next to the Nevėžis River. During their residency, creators work on individual projects while also engaging with local community and cultural activities.
Residents can stay in the Park Tower Residency, located in the manor house grounds, or in the Black Room Residency, situated in the modern part of the centre. They also have access to a shared kitchen. Residents can work in dedicated studio spaces, subject to prior coordination with the centre’s wider programme of activities.
Throughout the residency, participants receive support from a mentor and curator.

A communal natural garden is being created in Prãgiedruliai. The community is creating a naturalistic forest garden open to the public. City residents are given a piece of land in the very center of the city, in the city's oldest park. The garden is open to courageous, environmentally friendly tests, experiments, ideas, and initiatives of residents. Mineral fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other chemicals are not used in the garden. Gardeners are provided with the necessary tools, advice is given on planting issues, and raised beds are installed for the disabled.
Prãgiedruliai invites to join the community who wants to garden sustainably.
Visitors to Prãgiedruliai are invited to follow a trail featuring 12 augmented reality stations, located around the estate and throughout Skaistakalnis Park. Using smart devices, visitors can see long-lost buildings recreated in their original surroundings, explore detailed reconstructions of historical scenes and, through virtual reality experiences, immerse themselves in life as it was in the past.
This is more than an educational tool – it is an engaging cultural experience that connects the past with the present. The creators aim to make every visitor part of the story, transforming them from a passive observer into an active participant in the narrative.
“We wanted people not only to read about our historical heritage, but to experience it: to see, hear and discover it, and even take a photo alongside figures from the past. It is a journey through time that takes place here and now,” says Gita Laurinavičiūtė, Head of the Prãgiedruliai Creativity Center.
The project Reclaimed History (LL-00061) is implemented under the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2021–2027.
The total value of the project is €752,295.17, of which €601,836.13 is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The Stasys Eidrigevičius Arts Centre, as a project partner, has been allocated €84,744.55 from the European Regional Development Fund to carry out project activities.
The "Unifying Center of Creativity - Prãgiedruliai Sodyba" project is implemented with the funds of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
